[So, being rained on in the woods makes it pretty clear she's not on the Watchtower anymore. There's a few possibilities: she remembers flying back with the force of Fate rejecting her spell, so maybe she hit her head. Or maybe it's some illusion caused by the rebound. A very real illusion, as she can feel her whole body ache as she sits up. But there's no way she's not hallucinating this.]
Toto, I've a feeling we're not in outer space anymore. [She mumbles the words to herself, unaware that anyone might be listening. The journal has gone beyond notice, though it's been silently broadcasting the scene since a minute or so before Zatana woke. Thankfully she's close enough to a tree that the rain falling on her is light enough to not be too much of a concern. Instead her eyes have wandered downward, taking in her change of clothing with a frown.]
Oh you've got to be kidding me. [Zatanna tugs at the collar of the dress she wears, clearly displeased by the slip.] Yeah, this has to go. Emit ot egnahc sehtolc!
[She lifts her hands over her head as she speaks the words, and seconds later a cloud of smoke flows up the same path to cover Zatanna completely. It doesn't last long, vanishing within moments to reveal the girl now wearing an outfit better suited for a magician. For some reason though, it makes the pain in her back worse, and her jacket feels far too tight. She shifts where she sits for a moment before shrugging off the outermost layer to reveal a pair of grey wings.]
What in the--?! [Zatanna gasps, eyes wide as she takes in the sight of the appendages now attached to her. Actually attached; they move when she thinks of moving them, and she feels it when she touches them.] Great. A fake world with bad taste in clothing and accessories. Just what I needed.
[She takes another look at the jacket, slowly shaking her head.] At least I've still got my magic. Dda seloh rof sgniw! [After another cloud puff, this only only around the jacket, she slides the coat back on--gingerly, since the wings still hurt.
She makes her way to her feet then, determined to find out what's going on. Hopefully exploring will give her the answers she needs to get back. If she's lucky, maybe she'd wake up and find out there could still be a chance to thwart Fate.
The only place she ends up, however, is in Luceti proper. With the advice of a few good samaritans in mind, Zatanna changes into something a little less battling-bad-guys ready using the same method as before. Not that the rain makes exploring easy, but there's not really much avoiding it. Luckily summoning an umbrella is easy enough to do, and gives her adequate cover as she wanders pretty much everywhere public, just trying to get some idea for where she is.]
{ooc: open action or voice to any; Zatanna will be looking around randomly, so feel free to catch her anywhere.}

[Action] Later in the morning...
That's when she catches a snippet of a familiar voice, uttering a jumbled string of disjointed words that make no sense. Not unless you've heard them before, understand what they mean. Artemis freezes, flipping back quickly to the video she'd just skimmed past. It had been recorded earlier in the morning and when she calls out to the girl over the journal, there's no answer.
But there's no mistaking that voice. Zatanna is here. Somewhere.
The last few days pushed to the back of her mind, Artemis scrambles up to get dressed and dashes out into the town, heedless of the rain, searching for the other girl in the village.]
Re: [Action] Later in the morning...
Zatanna has just passed by the clinic, headed toward the next cluster of buildings when she catches sight of a figure moving towards her--or make that running towards her. Someone's definitely in a hurry, and even from a distance Zatanna doesn't think they have any sort of protection from the rain. It pricks her instincts, and she's trying to decide if she can stop the person to ask what's going on and maybe offer her help when she realizes it won't be necessary.
As it turns out, Zatanna recognizes the girl running frantically through the streets.]
Artemis? [There's a sense of relief at finding someone familiar, and Zatanna smiles brightly as she lifts her hand in a wave.] Artemis! Over here!

Today, though? He's on his way to get some food during a free school period, his hood up to repel the rain a bit. And when he spots Zatanna nearby, he stops. And stares. Because whooooaaa, is that who he thinks it is?]
Re: [action]
Well, Zatanna's not one to just pass something like that by. So she turns to face the interested party, hand on her hip as she calls out.]
Something I can help you with over there?
[action]
No, no! Sorry. Actually, uh, I was about to say the same thing to you. You're new here, right?
[Oh yeah, the epitome of smooth.]

So he continues his approach with a confused smile.]
You didn't have that a second ago, right?
Re: [Action]
What, this thing? [Alright, so maybe she shouldn't poke too much fun at a total stranger. But it's been a really long day, and Zatanna needs to relax a bit.] Well, either I did, or I managed to pull an umbrella out of thin air.

And what happens if I guess wrong?

[ Twilight fumbles with her journal and manages to figure out how to play the footage backwards. ]
Did you just say things backwards? [ She totally did. ]
Re: [Video]
Good ear. Not a lot of people pick up on that right away. [And Zatanna has no idea if the person who does now is a friend or a foe, so she's definitely on guard.] Mind coming out where I can see you?

The only thing to do is kind of force himself back to what passes for normalcy in this place.
Like that's ever going to happen.
The rain isn't a problem for him. Place like England, you kind of learn to deal with it which is why, when he heads across town, the rain seems to hit an invisible barrier about a foot above him and sluices off around him. Some people aren't so lucky.
Some people have pretty neat tricks too.]
Interesting chant there. Pulling stuff out of thin air is tricky.
Re: [Action]
And several are also magical. Zatanna immediately recognizes the mystical force in play when the man approaches her, grinning a bit as she's the one complimented.]
Thanks. I've had a lot of practice. What about you? Maintaining that barrier seems like it'd be more work than just getting an umbrella or something, unless you're using a charm.

[He kind of feels bad for staring, just a little. But it doesn't count if it's the journals, right? Yeah, he's just gonna say it doesn't.]
Re: [voice]
At least he's not the only one who will be creeping on her today.Zatanna's still getting used to the idea of a book that can talk, although she's managed to find it by now. She shakes her head slowly, staring down at the journal in her hands.]
Thanks. It's actually pretty easy once you know what you're doing.

To promptly move right in down the hall what the hell Artemis.
The next time she's alone, in the kitchen, in the hall, wherever she might be, Robin slides out from seemingly nowhere, cape wrapped around himself to air with the whole stealth thing.]
I think it's time we met.
Re: [Action]
So let me guess... [She turns, hand on her hip as she faces this version of the boy wonder. Honestly, this whole thing could get very complicated very quickly, but Zatanna would prefer to avoid that.] You're the creepy Robin with the stalker-like tendencies?

Zatana with her umbrella still warrants a second glance, as Katara is pretty sure she knows everyone in Luceti at least by sight. But since they're still a little bit apart, she doesn't say anything yet.]

So you're not waving to say hi, are you? [Zatanna doesn't mind speaking up first once they're close enough, looking over Katara in open curiosity.]

So, what's the friendly thing to do? Compliment of course.]
Whoooooooa...nice trick there. Must make it easy picking out your clothes in the morning.

But when he spots Zatanna's magical clothing routine, he stops in his tracks and blinks slowly. There's something you don't see every day. It's definitely impressive, though. Maybe even enviable, even if his newbie days are far behind him.
Ah well, he'll give her some applause.]
Well, I guess that'll save you one trip to the clothing shop.
