Experiments tend to feel real while they're happening. Don't let them cloud your judgment. There's always someone spying on us to watch how we react afterward.

Did you know there's a love experiment every year in february? People stay linked together afterwards every year, so the experiment keeps happening. They obviously consider it a success. Don't let them have that.

How we start with you being honest? [IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE SO STOP WHINING.] Even if it wasn’t entirely real, some of it was. That wasn’t all the spirit. What I don’t get is why you’re so stubborn about being like--this.

Except you said you weren't always the way you are now. Something had to change you.

[And really, Zatanna wants to believe it was more than just getting older.]

Okay, that's definitely a good goal. But one, you can still have a life in the meantime, and two, it's not all on you. There's a bunch of other people who would be willing to help, me included. You don't have to make yourself miserable trying to save everyone.
