[Jason answers the door relatively quickly, not having been up to much before Zatanna came to visit. He most certainly does notice her wearing the necklace, too. He tries to hide his satisfaction with a grin, but it's clearly different from the usual smirk he wears. There's something much more sincere about it today.]

[Yeah, way to be nonchalant, Jason.]

I'll bet. You must be shocked. [She laughs, then offers him the plate.] I brought you dinner. You like Italian, right?

You're offering me a whole plate of spaghetti, Zee. I'd have to be crazy to say no. [He reaches out to take the plate, still grinning.] It's not that I don't appreciate it, but I thought it was supposed to be your birthday.

It was. And this is my way of saying thank you. [Well, one of her ways. Once Jason’s got the plate in his hands, Zatanna leans forward to gently kiss him on the cheek. It’s nothing more than a peck—but she does really like her gifts.]
